St. Cecilia Motherhouse Roofing

LocationNashville, TN

The St. Cecilia Motherhouse reroof consisted of replacing sections of singles, slate, EPDM, and Queen Anne gutters on historical buildings that date back to between 1866 and 1888. Much of the wood framing and sheathing had deteriorated over the past 150 years and needed to be replaced. The sisters of St. Cecilia, knowing this would be no simple endeavor, enlisted the help of PBG Builders as the Owner’s Representative for the project to assist them to select a roofing contractor, define scope, develop project budgets, track budget, track schedule, write and issue contracts, review contractor invoices, and navigate critical details.

Since the sisters needed to live and operate out of the buildings during construction, this project required immense coordination to keep the sisters and worksite safe. The end result was a beautiful new roof with up to a 50 year warranty.
