Wal-Mart Super Center
This 202,000 square foot Supercenter was started in January, during winter weather, and completed by September of that year. An unusually heavy wet season, coupled with a stock pond right in the middle of the site, hampered construction further.
We encountered bad soil, which required undercut and replacement of 8 – 12 feet of engineered fill. Despite the site conditions and additional subgrade work, the store was completed in just over eight months.
