ETSU Library
The Central Library has become the new hallmark building on East Tennessee State University’s Campus. The four story, 196,300 square foot building consists of a structural steel frame with reinforced concrete floors, brick, natural limestone and an aluminum curtainwall veneer system.
Other features of the building include:
- An authentic reproduction of Congressman Jimmy Quillen’s Washington, D.C., office
- A four story, open spiral staircase with solid marble treads, accented with a stainless steel and glass handrail
- Seventy-six individual study rooms with networking capabilities
- A secured archives library
We completed the project on schedule in 24 months, under a lump sum contract.
