Antioch High School

The project called for a state-of-the-art high school for 2,500 students. One of the largest projects Nashville’s Board of Education had undertaken in several years, it included 30 acres of site work and a 281,814 square foot building area.

As originally bid, the project was substantially over the owner’s budget. However, by working closely with the owner and the architect, we reduced the cost by 4% without eliminating any of the owner’s program requirements.

When finished, the school included a fully functional commercial kitchen for culinary arts classes, a television production studio, a modern library, two full-size gyms, and several labs and lab instruction rooms.
